  • Who was involved in the situation? (who)
  • What was the atmosphere of the situation? (what kind)
  • How did the people feel? (what feelings)
  • What were the relationships between the people? (what tensions)
  • What did the people want? (what different interests)
  • What did the people say to each other? (what they said)
  • What did the people think? (what they thought)
  • Why did the situation occur? (why)
  • How would the situation change if...? (how doing things differently would change the situation)
